Lutheran Homes is a non-profit organization in West Central Minnesota begun more than 50 years ago by a consortium of 31 area Lutheran Churches. We remain committed to our original mission of providing living environments for seniors that maximize health, independence and quality of life. We have care facilities for seniors with medical needs, and senior apartments for those looking for a retirement choice that offers convenience, care and a sense of security and community.

We are able to draw upon expertise and resources from more than one community as we operate senior apartments and care facilities in both Twin Valley and Halstad, Minn.

Halstad is located just a short 30-minute drive straight north of the Fargo-Moorhead area. Twin Valley is located about one hour northeast of Fargo-Moorhead, about a half-hour drive off of Highway 10 just east of Hawley, Minn. It’s on the way to or from the lakes for many area families. The Normandy Apartments (senior apartments, retirement community)
Twin Valley Living Center (a care center for seniors with medical needs)
The Normandy and Living Center are connected, which allows staff from the Living Center to provide services and care to Normandy residents when needed.

Both locations emphasize choices, independence and providing services as directed by residents.

Halstad, Minnesota
Heritage House Apartments (senior apartments, retirement community)
Halstad Living Center (a care center for seniors with medical needs)
As is the case in Twin Valley, the senior apartments are connected with the Living Center, which affords apartment residents access to services and care, when needed. And as in Twin Valley, care at the Halstad locations emphasize choices, independence and providing services as directed by residents. See specific facility descriptions for more information.
